Our model

How training becomes a career.

One pipeline, three stages, two problems solved at once.

Here’s exactly how a young African goes from trained to hired, and how an NGO gets a free digital backbone in the process. No mystery, no catch.

The fellowship pipeline

Train Place Employ.

Stage 01 · Train

We train young Africans in Salesforce and real IT skills.

Cohorts learn Salesforce first (the current focus, and the reason we're “SF Fellows”), with ServiceNow, AWS and further IT tracks on the roadmap. Training is practitioner-led and built around how the tools are used in real organisations, not around passing a quiz. Fellows finish knowing the platform and ready for the part most programs skip.

What a Fellow leaves with

  • Working Salesforce / IT skills.
  • A portfolio of real exercises.
  • A placement waiting on the other side.

Stage 02 · Place

We equip NGOs for free, then place Fellows inside them for six months+.

This is the missing link, built on purpose. First we set up partner NGOs with free enterprise systems (Salesforce, Google for Nonprofits and more), the same tools big organisations pay thousands for. Then we place a trained Fellow inside that live environment for a minimum of six months. Real data, real deadlines, a real team depending on the work. The Fellow isn’t shadowing; they’re running systems. Partner NGOs can be registered anywhere in the world.

What a Fellow leaves with

  • A six-month+ live placement.
  • Real supervision and references.
  • An NGO with systems it keeps for good.

Stage 03 · Employ

The Fellow becomes genuinely hireable, and applies from strength.

By the end of a placement, a Fellow has provable live-system hours, references from a real supervisor, and the quiet confidence of someone who has already done the job. That’s the difference between a CV that gets ignored and one that gets a callback. Our purpose is simple: young people in real jobs, and less youth unemployment across Africa.

What a Fellow leaves with

  • Provable experience.
  • Real references.
  • A shot at a real job.
Why it's built this way

We didn’t stack two programs. We built one that solves both.

Youth need experience. Under-resourced NGOs need systems and hands. Instead of running a training program and a separate NGO-tech charity, we let each solve the other. The NGO gets tools and talent it couldn’t afford. The Fellow gets the live environment that makes them employable. One move, two wins. That’s the design.

Where we work

Rooted in Ghana. Working across Africa and beyond.

Our home base and HQ are in Accra, Ghana, but our work reaches well beyond it. The young people we train are Africans building careers across the continent. The NGOs we equip and place them in must be registered organisations, but they can be based anywhere in the world. If you’re a registered NGO that needs systems and can host a Fellow, your location is not the limit.

For funders

Fund one cohort. Move two needles.

A grant to SF Fellows GH does two measurable things at once: it puts young Africans on a path to real employment, and it digitally transforms a batch of NGOs (potentially your own grantees) with enterprise systems and skilled hands. One intervention, two reportable outcomes.
